I am a Machine Learning Scientist at Microsoft, Redmond. I work on applied artificial intelligence research in NLP.
Previously, I was an AI Resident at Microsoft Research. I graduated with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University where I completed my graduate thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Tianfu Wu. I received a B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.
In the past, my research has also spanned reinforcement learning and computer vision. My work is largely driven by my motivation to eliminate dependence on large labelled datasets and to design learning algorithms capable of reasoning, planning and multi-task performance.
